John Thompson
Managing Director
John is TAL's Managing Director and also heads up the Resourcing Practice. He founded the company over 20 years ago when he left a global services business. John follows European politics and is very committed to extending the reach of TAL into other parts of the EU. His children are financial services practitioners and own their own businesses. He enjoys chilling out at the family home in France. In his limited spare time he collects 18th century English ceramics, mends old clocks and follows European rugby.

Graham Johnson
Director
Graham heads up TAL's Performing Practice and is joint head of the Change Management Practice. His career spans 30 years in the Financial Services and Sports and Events sectors. This includes a range of roles within a major Asset Management Group and working in the UK and abroad within a major international bank. He is a passionate sports enthusiast and is Chairman of Kent County Cricket Club. In his spare time he works as a committee member for the Lords Taverners, one of the UK's leading youth and disability sports charities and the official charity for recreational cricket.

Ingrid Blades
Associate Director
Ingrid heads up TAL's Engagement Practice and is the joint head of the Change Management Practice. She has both private and public sector experience including the NHS, the Pharmaceutical and the IT sectors. She has worked in global roles and has many years experience in HR management, organisational design and talent management. While working for Cap Gemini Ernst & Young in the US, Ingrid developed her interest and expertise in behavioural aspects of complex adaptive systems design. She is married with one son and in her spare time loves to spend time at the family vineyard in North West Italy.

Joanne Hill
Project and Finance Manager
Based in TAL's London Bridge office, Joanne manages TAL projects and support services together with controlling the day to day accounts. She also plays an essential role in ensuring TAL quality systems remain client focused and effective. Joanne has worked with the company for 20 years through downturns, upturns and sideways turns as the business adapted to changing market needs. TAL assessment events benefit from her management and organisational skills. She juggles career and family commitments being the mother of three children aged 12, 9 and 7. In her spare time she likes to de-stress in the gym and socialise with family and friends.

Edita Tuckova
Project Manager
Edita joined TAL in February 2008 as a trainee Project Coordinator. She works in the London Bridge office helping to ensure that projects run on time and exceed customer expectations. Before joining the TAL team, Edita worked in tourism where she learnt the importance of service standards to business success. She has several qualifications in IT and computerised accounting. She speaks Czech (Slovak & Polish), English and German (basic). Recently she is extending her expertise to managing the TAL web site. In her spare time she leads the secret life of an ace pool player.

Paul Roscorla
Chartered Occupational Psychologist
FCA MSc C.Psychol
Paul is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and Chartered Accountant who switched careers in 1988 and has worked in management and leadership assessment and development ever since. He worked as a Management Development Manager with Abbey Life for 4 years, then took a Partners position in the private sector, before moving to the Home Office as Deputy Head of a unit responsible for assessment services. While in this role he assessed candidates for Senior Civil Service posts and designed and managed assessment and development centres for organisations such as the police at national level. His Masters degree in Psychological Assessment in Organisations from Goldsmith's College, combined with qualifications at levels A and B in psychological testing, means he is much in demand across all 4 of TAL's practices. Paul brings a high level of professionalism and expertise to the design and delivery of assessment and development services which have consistently added value to both private and public sector clients.

Richard Merrick
Associate Director
After leaving the RAF, Richard built his career in international businesses. After 20 years developing his expertise in change management and strategy, he started his own business development practice in 2000, working with clients from his base in Switzerland. Returning to the UK in 2006 he focused his interest in leadership development by qualifying as an Executive Coach in 2009. He is currently undertaking postgraduate study in the Neuroscience of Leadership. He is dedicated to helping clients generate real competitive advantage through talent management interventions. In his spare time, he is an active hot air balloonist, and enjoys his involvement as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

John Clinton
Associate Director
John represents TAL's activities in the Nordic area and also towards other international companies in the Forest products and related industries. He has more than 20 years experience in these industries, including a range of senior management roles – operative and corporate – in UK, Netherlands and Finland. During his earlier career, John has traveled extensively, managing business throughout Europe as well as in North America and Asia. Presently living in Stockholm, Sweden, John enjoys following his favourite sport, rugby and a new found interest in ice-hockey, as well as continuing his interest in current affairs and politics.
